Distillery founded in 1898 by Buchanan, one of the barons of Scotch Whisky, to produce single malt for the blended that bears his name, but also for Black & White. Still active today, its malt is mainly used for Ballantines.

Distilled in 2013 and aged in oak barrels ex bourbon, then finished in a Caol Ila cask for 36 Months.

Light in color, the nose is dry, with notes of malt and a slight hint of honey and tobacco. Immediately decided in the mouth, it then gives way to a harmony of citrus fruits, burnt wood and a brushstroke of white pepper.
