Kilchoman Madeira Cask Matured was distilled in May 2016 from peated barley at 50 ppm: it remained to mature for 5 years and 3 months in 46 ex-Madeira barrels of first filling, before being bottled in August 2021 at 50%. Limited edition just arrived in Italy, only 17000 bottles on the global market.

Aroma: Caramel, orange peel and prunes with notes of mixed spices and rich smoke.

Palate: Lemon zest and peaches, with raisins, almonds, dark chocolate.

Finish: Juicy fortified wine, burnt sugar, red fruit and persistent smoked Christmas cake.
