The final release in the Billy Walker 50th Anniversary collection from Glenallachie, this young, feisty single malt represents Billy's future endeavours. Made with Speyside peat from St Fergus and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-rye whiskey and virgin oak casks for four years, it was bottled in August 2022 and marks the first single malt that Billy has overseen from start to finish since he became master distiller in 2017. Aromas of toasted honeycomb, dried fruits, hazelnuts, dark chocolate, smouldering oak and cinnamon apples fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed pears, toasted almonds, heather honey, vanilla toffee, smoked barley and ripe apples throughout the palate.
