This cask is something quite particular.
This cask is from Bodega Fernando de Castilla, it's an actual solera cask which held Pedro Ximénez for a good while before it was shipped to Scotland.
Here it was rebuilt into a Hogshead and then reracked with Ruadh Maor (the peated malt of the Glenturret distillery).
Deep dried fruits along with medicinal peat is always a simply delicious combination.
Matured in the rebuilt Pedro Ximénez solera cask for 26 months.
