This Glenallachie eight-year-old is part of the Batch 3 Virgin oak series, released in March 2023 and aged in American oak barrels – followed by an 18-month rest in virgin Scottish oak casks – bringing out subtle flavour nuances between different oak species.

Nose: Bursting with baked oats, butterscotch and toffee, with notes of cinnamon, gingersnaps and heather honey.

Palate: Lashings of heather honey, orchard fruits and lemon zest, followed by white chocolate, cinnamon and ginger, with toffee and butterscotch on the finish.
