Machir Bay is the most common bottling by Kilchoman, small Islay craft distillery that farms part of the barley that will be malted on-site. Composed by ex-bourbon (90%) and ex-sherry casks (10%), Machir Bay takes the name from one of the most famous beaches on Islay.

N: open, peat smoke, sea breeze, industrial port, vanilla, peaches, chortcrust and candied fruit.
P: tasty, again on smoke, burnt embers and kelpies, then shortcrust, pear drops and aniseed.
F: long and lingering, peat and sweet lemonade.
