Owned by the Grant family since its early days, Glenfarclas Distillery from Ballindaloch is a cornerstone of scotch whisky: this 10 years old expression, matured mostly in ex-sherry casks, is a great introduction to the house style, traditional and with no compromises.

N: pleasant, fruity, strawberries, malt, raisins, orange and spicy chocolate.
P: medium-bodied, easy, with ripe fruit, shortbread, chocolate.
F: long, strawberries are back wit malt and honey biscuits.

Great if paired with stewed lamb.
