The heavier, darkest and richest style of Demerara rum made in a double column still. Fruity, winey, rich with notes of toasted brown sugar, coffee and dark chocolate, it's a thick, hot rum that betrays the use of sherry casks. Rounder and oilier in style than other rums from the same distillery, it has an almost tarry touch, a sligtly musty hint, and rich notes of dried figs and raisins. Particularly suited as anafter dinner rum, or for pairing withan intense cigar.
