A reality that has recently appeared in the world of Scotch Whisky but with a great experience and a long family tradition behind it: this is the Alistair Walker Whisky Company.

Alistair Walker worked for six years in Burn Stewart in the marketing office, then in 2004 he followed his father Billy in the adventure in BenRiach, supporting him until the time of the sale of the group to Brown Forman in November 2016. 18 months later he founded the Alistair Walker Whisky Company and thus became an independent bottler: Alistair's focus is the selection of single casks, bottled with the Infrequent Flyers brand, not child filtered, natural color and cask strength.

The first batch was released in June 2018. Alistair spent the first few months selecting a fair amount of barrels, building a stock of barrels from over 40 distilleries.
Strengthened by the experience gained working alongside his father, he has procured many interesting barrels in which to transfer part of the whisky purchased, so as to explore the contribution of different woods:like Pedro Ximenez, Porto, Moscatel, Marsala, Madeira, Rye and Sauternes ...
The output of 'finished' bottling in unusual woods was gradual, so as to leave time for the barrels to act after re-racking. Most of Alistair's stocks are in GlenAllachie's warehouses, also taking advantage of the privileged relationship with his father's company.
