Sauternes (a famous French sweet wine) barrels turned out to be perfect for whisky maturation: this Arran, finished in these casks for a few months, shows it perfectly with its fruity richness.

N: open, aromatic, with apricot jam, tinned peaches, orange, winey notes and shortcrust.
P: structured and coating, apricot croissant, orange marmalade, vanilla and coconut.
F: long, again apricot and honey.

Delicious with a potato and bacon Rosti.
