The second official release of Lochlea, Farm Distillery in the south of Scotland, is called "Sowing Edition".

This is the first of an annual series of limited 'seasonal' bottling, thus supporting the time scan that the cultivation of the land imposes.

The Sowing Edition reflects spring, when everything explodes on the farm and you begin to sow the seeds for the annual barley. Expect notes of creamy vanilla, sweet cereals, and crispy apples and green pears.

The Sowing Edition is composed of 100% ex-Bourbon first fill barrels and is bottled at 48%, without chill filtering and addition of color.

Aroma: A lot of vanilla sticks, biscuit notes, slowly opens, bringing out peach and white grapes

Palate: Vibrant and slightly citrusy, with green apple and orange, balanced by buttery malt and a touch of toasted walnut.

Finish: Persistent honeyed sweetness
