The 13-year-old Glenlivet First Fill American Oak was aged for a minimum of 13 years, in American oak barrels that had never been used before to age Scotch whisky. These oak barrels create a perfect harmony between the barrel and the whiskey. The American oak barrel gives aromas of caramel and honey, followed by aromas of vanilla and milk chocolate, always accompanied by the fruity style of The Glenlivet.
