Peat and sherry, again a mix which most love. Caol Ila's otherwise dry bonfire smoke is well complimented with elegant blossom aromas from the Oloroso sherry and sweetness from the oak. Starting off its life in a refill Hogshead and living a secondary maturation for almost 3 years in an octave.
