The fifth official release of Lochlea, Farm Distillery in the south of Scotland, is called "Ploughing Edition". This is the fourth bottling of the first annual series of 'seasonal' limited editions, thus supporting the scanning of time that the cultivation of the land imposes.

The Ploughing Edition is inspired by winter, when plowing the fields in preparation for spring planting.

Ploughing Edition is the first Lochlea whiskey aged in ex-Laphroaig barrels, therefore with delicately but unquestionably peaty notes: Ploughing Edition was personally edited by John Campbell
