A Refill Sherry Butt Refill in 2010 in an undeclared distillery on the south coast of Islay (Laphroaig) bottled in 2022. The label shouts the name of the distillery from every corner.

Aroma: Pickled nuts, warm farm shed, game meat; smoked, fatty and rich pheasant. Some notes of old sherry. Cigar ends, mineral notes of stone, ancient books, cigarettes and cloves. Many generic notes of modern Laphroaig.

Palate: Clove oil, eucalyptus, leather-bound books, waxed oak boards, brine, smoked pineapple sauce.

Finish: Menthol, roll-your-own tobacco, dried peat, sandalwood, camphor, chilli oil.
