Ardbeg Anamorphic's tasting experience is multidimensional: the familiar brackish undertones are toned down, intensifying the hidden chocolatey sweetness and amplifying the mocha sensations.

It's a wacky Ardbeg, which almost seems to come from an alternate universe. Notes of earth and dust, slightly biscuit on the nose, accompanied by clear but contained notes of soot, balanced by hints of silky vanilla.

On the palate, warm spices precede an explosion of chilli chocolate, bitter-sweet mocha, briar wood, birch resin, ground black pepper and smoked artichokes. The rich smoky flavors return, in a crescendo finish, with a lingering aftertaste of roasted bitter almonds and molasses.
