Originally released for the Friends of Classic Malts, this Moch is the first NAS bottling from Caol Ila: that's the reason behind the name, which means "Dawn" in gaelic. Unmistakable Caol Ila, smoothed by maturation in bourbon casks.
N: aromatic, open, light smoke, ash, custard, lemon, white chocolate, eucalyptus.
P: sharp and pleasing, burnt embers, bbq, smoke, vanilla and sweet lemonade.
F: long, smoke and custard.
We suggest the match with caramelised scallops.
