Part of Waterford's Arcadian Farm Origin range, Heritage Hunter explores the distinct flavour of a barley variety from a bygone era, named after pioneering plant breeder Dr Herbert Hunter.

This Irish single malt began with just one 50g bag of Hunter barley, which was cultivated over several years to produce a harvest that filled 50 barrels.

Matured in a combination of first-fill American oak, virgin American oak, French oak and Vin Doux Naturel casks, this whiskey brings aromas of dry earth, lemon sherbet, red apples, rolled barley, sea salt, petrichor and hay that fill the nose.

The palate offers notes of orange sponge cake, savoury spices, cloves, porridge, prunes, wood char, orange oil and green spice that linger in the finish.
