This single malt was distilled on the 2nd of May 2018 at the Glasgow Distillery. It was then aged for 5 years in a single virgin oak barrel and bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Finn Thomson chose the cask carefully- he'd first tasted this malt a year ago, during a rain-soaked climb of Ben Cruachan.

It was intensely sweet and smoky, yet a very big dram, but the rainwater opened it up, revealing the hidden layers of fruity sweetness– and so, the release's ABV was cut from 61% to 56.2%, mimicking the rain's effect.
