In the Infrequent Flyers range of the Alistair Walker bottler comes this beautiful 15-year-old single malt by Blair Athol. Distilled in 2008, the whisky was aged in a single barrel, including a finishing in a barrel that previously contained Sherry Pedro Ximenez, imparting wonderfully rich fruity notes to this classic Highlander. A release of 680 bottles, which confirms how Blair Athol and intense sherry go together beautifully...

Aroma: Red fruits, cherry and blackberries, a touch of dates, with chocolate and aromatic tobacco.

Palate: Intense, fatty, with sweet shortcrust pastry, bitter orange and blueberry jam, raisins, dark chocolate and distant dried herbs.

Finish: Sugary nuts, sweet and toasted wood, with a little cinnamon and cloves, but very light.
