Who said a 7-year-old whisky isn't ready yet? This is simply a great whisky, a warm, fruity cuddle that shows the quality of Aberfeldy's malt and Iain's wisdom in selecting barrels at the right time – especially when it comes to ex-Sherry cask.

Aroma: Fruity, ripe apples initially, then berries, raspberries. Alcohol is not noticeable despite the rather high ABV.

Palate: plums, berries and some earthy and vegetal notes, with a sour tip in the background.

Finish: Ripe fruit, once again a bitter note, which remains long enough in the finish.
